At the time, East Coast Jewelry was looking to overhaul their entire 20+ year brand with a new image and brand marketing message. Our approach was both strategic and long-term. The first phase was to redesign their entire brand identity including a new logo mark and brand communication pieces. This also included a website redesign, in-store signage, catalogs, sales collateral and advertising.
During the second phase, we developed multiple advertising and marketing campaigns to further expand their brand awareness such as the Really Big Love Note Campaign. During Mother's Day week, ECJ invited the public to post a Mother's Day message for free on its microsite www.reallybiglovenote.com. The message was then broadcast in real-time onto an eye-popping 14 feet by 48 feet digital billboard on heavily trafficked Interstate 95. The result was instant success with well over 2,000 sign-ups, extensive broadcast and print media coverage and a 40% increase in brand awareness.
